FirstQFM gives closing remarks at inaugural Nordic Quantum AI Community meeting.

FirstQFM Co-founder and CTO Isaiah Hull gave closing remarks at the inaugural Nordic Quantum AI Community meeting, held at AWS in Stockholm.
The event focused on practical work at the intersection of quantum computing and AI, with presentations from AWS, IBM, NorQSoft and Simula Research Lab, PolarIQ, Quanscient, TET Digital and Ruter, NORDITA, NORDIQ, and FirstQFM.
The program covered quantum infrastructure, quantum-centric supercomputing, real-world quantum AI use cases, computational fluid dynamics, tomography platforms, and community-building across the Nordic QAI ecosystem.
Hull's remarks, titled "How classical AI can accelerate quantum hardware development," focused on AI-for-quantum: the use of machine learning for calibration, pulse-level control, error-correction decoding, and circuit optimization.
The presentation framed quantum computing's remaining path to scale as an engineering problem, with applied ML methods helping address high-dimensional, noisy, data-rich systems where hand-tuned approaches become difficult to sustain.
The meeting also marked the launch of a regional forum for researchers, companies, and infrastructure providers working across quantum computing and AI in the Nordics.
